Registration for Agniveer recruitment open till Mar 15
Registration for the Agniveer recruitment will remain open until March 15, an official in Maharashtra`s Gondia said Monday.
Gondia collector Chinmay Gotmare addressed a press conference with Colonel R Jagath Narayan, Director of the Army Recruitment Office (Nagpur) and Major Dr. Shilpa Kharapkar, District Soldier Welfare Officer and Army Recruitment Coordinator (Nagpur).
Previously, army candidates had to appear for a field test and later for the written test, but now they have to register for the general entrance exam, which will be held online, after which physical and medical tests will be conducted.
“Registration for the recruitment drive is open until March 15. Aspiring youth can register online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in,” Colonel Narayan said.

The CEE will be held between April 17 and May 4 and after screening, the selected candidates will have to appear for physical and medical tests, he said.
“To avoid touts and intermediaries and to have maximum transparency, the process was conducted online. The recruitment meeting for the shortlisted candidates would be held in Nagpur in July,” Dr Kharapkar said.
The physical and medical tests will be held at 17 centers in Maharashtra and two in Vidarbha, namely Nagpur and Amravati.
