Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has come in support of Nawazuddin Siddiqui after he broke his silence and issued a statement about the allegations leveled against him by his estranged wife Aaliya.

Kangana said it was much needed for Nawazuddin to speak for himself, as silence is not the solution to all problems.

Kangana took to her Instagram Stories and shared, “Was much needed @nawazuddin._siddiqui saab…silence doesn’t always bring us peace…I’m glad you released this statement (hand folded emoji).”

She also shared the screenshot of Nawazuddin’s statement, who recently responded to the allegations against him by Aaliya Siddiqui.

Aaliya accused Nawazuddin of using his power to take custody of her children and allegedly raped her. She also shared a video from outside her bungalow stating that she was not allowed into his house and left at midnight with her children.

He wrote in his statement, “I am being called a villain everywhere because of my silence. The reason I have been silent is because all this tamasha will be read somewhere by my little kids. Social media platforms, press and a lot of people are really enjoying my character assassination based on one sided and manipulated videos There are few points I would like to express – Firstly me and Aaliya don’t stay together since several years we already divorced but we definitely had an understanding just for our kids Does anyone know why my children are in India and are out of school for 45 days, during which the school sends me letters every day that it has been too long an absence.

“My children have been held hostage for the past 45 days and are missing their education in Dubai.”

He further also claimed that Aaliya has been receiving around Rs 10 lakh per month and 5-7 lakhs per month for the past two years before moving to Dubai with his children, not including school fees, medical care, travel and other leisure activities.
