US intelligence has said in a report that India under Prime Minister Modi is more likely than in the past to issue a military response to perceived or real Pakistani provocations.

“Crises between India and Pakistan are particularly concerning due to the risk of an escalating cycle between two nuclear-armed states. New Delhi and Islamabad are likely to reinforce the current calm in their relationship after both sides extended a ceasefire along the way. the Line of Control in early 2021,” according to the U.S. intelligence community’s annual Threat Assessment report.

The report further criticizes Pakistan for stating that Islamabad has a long history of supporting militant anti-Indian groups. But under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is more likely to respond with military force to alleged or real Pakistani provocations.

The report said: “…both sides’ perceptions of heightened tensions raise the risk of conflict, with violent unrest in Kashmir or a militant attack in India as possible focal points.”

The report also talked about the war between Russia and Ukraine, Covid-19 said it has increased poverty, affected the economy and increased inequality.

In another report, a series of suspiciously timed and targeted events suggest an Anglo-American destabilization is being launched in the coming months to overthrow Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claims F. William Engdahl of the Center for Research on Globalization.
