Memphis Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant will stay away from the team and ESPN reports that he will miss at least the next four games.

Those games are against the Golden State Warriors, the Dallas Mavericks in back-to-back games, and the Miami Heat.

The Glendale Police Department in Colorado concluded their investigation into Morant after he allegedly brandished a gun while at a nightclub on his Instagram live.

In a press release, Glendale Police Department said they “could not determine that there was probable cause for the charges to be filed.”

“In this case, it should be noted that the GPD did not receive any calls for service at the nightclub regarding any type of weapon on the night in question,” the department said. Subsequently, no disturbances were reported and no citizens or patrons of the club came forward to make a complaint.

The investigation also concluded that no one was threatened or threatened with the firearm and that, in fact, no firearm was ever found. While the video was alarming enough to trigger an investigation, there was not enough evidence available to make anyone of to charge a crime.”

However, Morant could still face a league suspension in addition to the Grizzlies’ penalty.

NBA journalist Marc Stein appeared on the “This League Uncut” podcast Tuesday and said there are “a number of elements” that the league and Colorado law enforcement are looking at.

“This was done on the way,” Stein said, referring to Morant allegedly brandishing the gun. “This was at a club in Denver, I believe. And so there are questions like, ‘Did he personally bring the gun himself?’ And then, while we’re on the road, is there a question if he had the gun on the team plane?”

The league’s CBA states that a gun on the team’s property would result in a suspension, though the duration “is imposed at the discretion of the commissioner,” according to Stein.

“I take full responsibility for my actions last night. I am sorry to my family, teammates, coaches, fans, partners, the city of Memphis and the entire Grizzlies organization for letting you down,” Morant said. “I’m going to make some time to get help and work on learning better methods of coping with stress and my overall well-being.”
