30-year-old man drowns off Mumbai`s Juhu beach
A 30-year-old boy, identified as Ravindra Chandrakant Pangare, died when he drowned near Mumbai Juhu beach around 6.30pm on Tuesday.
Though the youngster was rescued by the lifeguard of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and taken to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, the youngster had already passed away. The doctors declared it a case of “brought to death.”
Earlier in November 2022, two children died after drowning and three others were rescued by locals in Worli. An 8-year-old Kartik Choudhary and a 12-year-old Savita Pal were pronounced dead by doctors upon arrival after being taken to a nearby hospital.

In another similar incident in Andhra Pradesh in February 2023, six men drowned in a pond in Toderu village of Nellore district. The six were part of a group of 10 members who entered the pond on Sunday, police said. Four of them managed to get to safety.
These frequent drowning incidents have now become a major problem across the country.
